Ancient Art to Modern Embalming

Many hundreds of years ago, the Egyptians, because of superstition, practised an effective form of embalming.

Today, modern arterial embalming, which is a standard part of our service, is a science, one result of which produces a restful appearance, and can thus afford great comfort to the feelings of the bereaved family.

In addition, it is rendered necessary by our studies in hygiene and regard for public health.

Laurence Jones is a fully qualified embalmer, and member of the British Institute of Embalmers.

We also have a qualified embalming team, who are experts in the art of embalming and can even provide facial reconstruction and top make up procedures if neccessary, however we do aim to keep people looking as natural as possible, and therefore don't use make up unneccessarily.
